Every Resolve LPGA advanced metric, with what it measures and how to read it. Each metric had to pass a face-validity gate before shipping — if a metric ranked someone obviously wrong, it got cut. Grouped by side (offense / defense / two-way / team).
Offense
Birdie-or-Bust Style(bob_ratio)
Aggressive scoring vs. steady grinding.
What it measures: Birdies-plus-eagles per round versus bogeys-plus-doubles per round, and the ratio between them. Captures style as much as quality — some elite players are aggressive, some are steady.
How to read it: Jeeno Thitikul leads the birdie-to-bogey ratio, with Nelly Korda, Miyu Yamashita, Hyo Joo Kim, Lydia Ko and Xiyu Janet Lin behind — the cleanest scorers on tour. A high ratio is the elite-and-efficient read; high birdies paired with high bogeys is the boom-or-bust profile.

Bomber Index(bomber_index)
Who can move it out there.
What it measures: A composite of average and peak driving distance. Pure power — accuracy is intentionally excluded, so this is the 'moves it' reading, not the 'plays a smart driver' reading.
How to read it: Bianca Pagdanganan and Maria Fassi — the tour's canonical long hitters — anchor the top, alongside power rookies Julia López Ramirez, Polly Mack and Auston Kim. Distance is a young-and-athletic skill on the modern LPGA, which is why the leaderboard skews toward the newest generation.

Volatility Index (Sharpe)(vol_sharpe)
The 'consistency wins' thesis, quantified.
What it measures: Average field-relative scoring per round divided by round-to-round standard deviation — a Sharpe ratio for golf. Grinder vs. boom-or-bust.
How to read it: Jeeno Thitikul and Nelly Korda top it — high mean paired with low variance, exactly the signature of their dominance. Miyu Yamashita, Hyo Joo Kim, Xiyu Janet Lin and Lydia Ko follow. A high Sharpe is the player you can pencil into contention week after week.

Sunday Premium(sunday_premium)
Elevate, hold, or fade on the final round.
What it measures: Final-round field-relative scoring versus rounds 1-3. The simplest test of how a player handles Sunday.
How to read it: Yuka Saso — a two-time major champion who has done her best work on Sundays — leads, with Georgia Hall, Xiaowen Yin and Yuna Nishimura behind. Top risers tend to be players with one elite closing run on the résumé; read it as a final-round signal, not a full-talent ranking.

Lead-Protect Index (LPI)(lpi)
Closer vs. choker when leading after Round 3.
What it measures: Final-round field-relative scoring when entering Sunday in the top 3, compared to a player's typical final-round level. Only a small pool of players have enough top-3 entries to qualify.
How to read it: Lydia Ko leads, with Hannah Green, Nelly Korda and Allisen Corpuz behind — closers whose reputations for finishing the job hold up. Read with care: leading-after-54 samples are thin (a small qualifying pool), so this is the most sample-limited metric in the suite.

Cut-Pressure Performance (CP)(cp_sg)
Who delivers Round 2 when they're at the cut bubble.
What it measures: Round 2 field-relative scoring split by whether a player entered the round near the projected cut line, versus safely in or out. A mental-game indicator with a clean storyline.
How to read it: An exceptionally clean elite list: Nelly Korda, Jin Young Ko, Jeeno Thitikul, Jessica Korda and Hyo Joo Kim lead — the players who tighten up rather than wilt when the weekend is on the line. Amateur sensation Lottie Woad already grades near the top.

Major-Pressure Performance (MP)(mp_majors_sg)
Who shows up for the biggest events of the year.
What it measures: Average field-relative scoring in the majors versus regular tour events. Some players elevate for the majors; others wilt.
How to read it: Nelly Korda leads, with Hyo Joo Kim, Minjee Lee, Ruoning Yin, Charley Hull and Jeeno Thitikul behind — almost entirely major champions or repeated major contenders. The board is a near-perfect roll call of the players who raise their level for the four biggest weeks.

Who travels well to seaside, wind-exposed golf.
What it measures: A player's field-relative scoring at links and links-style venues versus their overall level. Native to this suite — a course-type specialism the men's pages don't compute.
How to read it: Amateur star Lottie Woad tops it, with Jiyai Shin — a renowned links and bad-weather player — and Marissa Steen, Ilhee Lee and Sarah Kemp behind. Reads as a genuine seaside-and-wind specialism rather than raw quality.

Who plays better on their own side of the world.
What it measures: A player's field-relative scoring at events on their home continent versus away. Native metric — captures travel, time-zone and familiarity effects the global LPGA schedule exposes.
How to read it: Lottie Woad, Esther Henseleit, Marina Alex and Celine Boutier lead — players who measurably elevate closer to home. A high value flags a player whose schedule placement matters; near zero means a true road warrior.

Who feasts when the course gives birdies up.
What it measures: A player's field-relative scoring at low-scoring, birdie-friendly setups versus tougher weeks. Native metric — the complement to a hard-course specialism.
How to read it: Kiira Riihijärvi, Natthakritta Vongtaveelap and Hira Naveed lead — aggressive, birdie-hunting players who separate from the field when a course lets scoring run. A high value is a green-light scorer; it does not imply the same edge on a brutal setup.

What it measures: A composite of a player's scoring-profile components into a single field-relative quality reading. Native to this suite as a tour-wide summary index.
How to read it: Jeeno Thitikul, Nelly Korda, Miyu Yamashita and Hyo Joo Kim top it — the same names that anchor the elite of every quality board, which is the face-validity check this summary index has to pass.

Precocity(precocity)
How much a player achieved relative to age.
What it measures: A player's quality level weighted against how young they reached it — an early-career-relative-to-age index. Native metric.
How to read it: Nelly Korda, Jeeno Thitikul, Hyo Joo Kim, Jiyai Shin and Lydia Ko lead — the prodigies who arrived early and won young. Lydia Ko, the youngest player to reach world #1 in history, grading near the top is the metric working as intended.

Par-5 Dominance(par5_vs_field)
Who turns the par 5s into scoring holes.
What it measures: A player's par-5 scoring versus the field's par-5 scoring. Native metric, and one of the two that ported back to the men's tour — par-5 dominance correlates strongly with the bomber index, as it should.
How to read it: Nelly Korda, Jeeno Thitikul, Jessica Korda, Charley Hull and Lydia Ko lead — the players who reach and convert the par 5s the field plays conservatively. A high value is a real scoring weapon on the holes where strokes are there to be had.

Ceiling & Floor(ceiling_z)
How high the peaks, how high the floor.
What it measures: Two z-scored reads: ceiling (a player's best-round level) and floor (their bad-round level). Native metric — the same player can have a high ceiling and a shaky floor, or the reverse.
How to read it: Ceiling: Nelly Korda and Jeeno Thitikul soar above the field, with Jessica Korda and Lydia Ko behind. Floor: Lydia Ko leads — the highest bad-round floor on tour, the quantified version of her reputation as the most reliable player in the game — with Miyu Yamashita, Hyo Joo Kim and Ayaka Furue close behind.
